reel's 3D Re-scaling pendant is our signature fine jewellery technique — a process that captures your pet's nose print or paw print and reduces it to a wearable scale without losing a single line of detail. Not smoothed. Not simplified. Every ridge, every groove, every subtle variation in depth, preserved at jewellery grade in 925 sterling silver or 18K gold.

This is what makes 3D Re-scaling different from any standard imprint process: most techniques flatten or approximate the original when scaled down. reel's proprietary method maintains the full 3D topography of the original imprint — the result is a pendant that, under close inspection, reveals the complete complexity of your pet's actual nose or paw, at a fraction of its original size.

Why 3D Rescaling takes 8 weeks
This is not a production delay. It is a reflection of what the process requires. Each piece undergoes multiple stages of precision refinement — each layer checked against the original impression before the next stage begins. Eight weeks is what it takes to do this correctly. It cannot be rushed without compromising the result.

Recommended dimensions
925 Sterling Silver:
— Nose print: 14–18 mm (± 1 mm)
— Paw print: 18–20 mm (± 1 mm)

18K Gold:
— Nose print: 13 mm (± 1 mm)
— Paw print: maximum 15 mm

Final dimensions are confirmed during the production process based on your pet's actual imprint. We will advise if adjustment is needed.

How it works
After your order is confirmed, we ship a bespoke Imprint Tool Kit within one week. The kit contains professional-grade impression wax and a step-by-step guide. Take the impression at home — at your pet's pace, with no rush. When the impression is ready, send it back and our 8-week production process begins.
